About ASEAN Digital GrandPals

ASEAN Digital GrandPals is part of the Scam Ready ASEAN programme. Ambassadors are trained to support grandparents, parents and their communities, especially older people, as they learn together to spot and avoid online scams through the Be Scam Ready game.

Ambassadors sit down and play alongside grandparents, then talk through the scenarios in the game so the whole family remembers what to do.

Trick cards
after every choice, explaining the trick the scammer has just used
No risk
practise in simulated situations, with no real money or accounts involved

The game currently opens in English. When playing with grandparents, Ambassadors can read out and explain each situation in Vietnamese.
